My wife and I stumbled into this little riverside cafe on or first day in Porto. We were looking for lunch with fresh seafood options and a nice river view; Fish Fixe had both. You could tell that the service was friendly right when you walk up and they will guide you through the menu. The first thing you will learn in eating in this area of town is that they will bring you selections of appetizers first thing with a "pay for what you eat" clause. The small tray of seasoned green olives, cubed feta cheese and tuna pate looked too delicious to not try. I believe the total tray was 6-8€ and if you are not interested in the selections, you should refuse it as soon as it arrives to the table. They have very nice house wine selections you can purchase by the glass and one beer selection that tasted like Super Bock. We ended up trying some of the dry white port as an aperitif that I highly recommend. We had the basil and tomato salad, garlic shrimps and octopus. My suggestion is stick to the seafood and you can't go wrong. Although we liked the salad, the tomatoes were ok and not as ripe as we had hoped. Stop in and get your fish fixe.

Food was amazing!!! Loved the tapas and the salmon alfredo was better than the dishes is Italy. They have a great selection of wine. Ricardo was our waiter, he was awesome!!

Think quality not much so quantity and you will enjoy the gastronomic ambiance that it has to offer! I ordered the Sardines with Rice - well seasoned (quantity was a nice balance quality. ;)
